At last night's BCPS meeting, a school board member asked a question about "A" grades. Dr. Lorion's* response drew a derisive laugh from the audience when he replied, "An 'A' in what sense?"His response underscored the confusing nature of the Articulated Instruction Module. AIM, you see, has a three-letter grading scale where "A" is the lowest grade, not the highest.
You can't make this stuff up.
