- The slots amendment to the Maryland constitution that we just voted in has no "maintenance of effort" clause. Which means we have no guarantee that funds from slots will go to education as promised by the pro-slots folks.
- Redistricting reform (to prevent gerrymandering) should be a top-burner* issue in Maryland.
- Early voting is a solution looking for a problem. When tried in other states it has not increased voter turnout.
- Loosened criteria for obtaining absentee ballots are an invitation to fraud.
